Children explore, discover and imagine in an environment that nurtures both their minds and their wellbeing 🌞🌱 Nature becomes part of the lesson, quietly teaching resilience, respect and wonder every single day 🌍💫

Here, laughter blends with birdsong 🐦💚
Here, play and learning go hand in hand 🎨🔍
Here, every space invites creativity and connection 🤝✨

Because education is not only about books — it’s about growing in a place where children feel safe, inspired and free 🌈🌿

✨🔬 Science in Action: Year 3 visits Secondary ✨🔬 Science in Action: Year 3 visits Secondary! 🔬✨

Today our Year 3 pupils enjoyed a very special experience as they visited the Secondary Science laboratory for an exciting hands-on session 🧪🌟

Guided by Anna, our teacher, and supported by our fantastic Year 13 students, the children stepped into the role of real scientists for the morning 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

🔎 They carefully observed samples under the microscope with great concentration.
🔥 They explored scientific reactions and changes through practical demonstrations.
👓 They wore protective goggles and worked responsibly, just like true laboratory scientists.

It was wonderful to see our Sixth Form students explaining concepts patiently, pointing things out, guiding discussions and encouraging curiosity at every step. A beautiful example of cross-age collaboration and learning in action 💙

Activities like this not only strengthen scientific understanding, but also build confidence, inspire ambition and reinforce the strong sense of community that defines our school.

Learning science is important… but learning together makes it even more powerful. 🚀✨

✨🔬 STEAM Week in Year 2L 🔬✨ Year 2L wer ✨🔬 STEAM Week in Year 2L 🔬✨

Year 2L were thrilled to welcome Rafael Llario Sempere, Managing Director at Mediterranean Chemical Technologies and father of one of our pupils, into the classroom as part of our STEAM celebrations 👨‍🔬💙

During a fascinating hands-on session, the children explored the concept of density through a simple but surprising experiment 🥚💧. Why does an egg sink in normal water… but float when salt is added? 🤔✨

There were lots of predictions, wide eyes and excited reactions as pupils watched the changes happen in front of them 👀🌊. Step by step, they observed, reflected and asked brilliant questions — thinking just like real scientists! 🧠🔍

Experiences like this bring learning to life and show our pupils how science connects to the real world 🌍⚗️. We are so grateful to our wonderful parent community for sharing their expertise and inspiring our children 🚀💚

Science truly transforms… and surprises! ✨🧪

🫀✨ STEAM Week in Primary: Discovering the Hea 🫀✨ STEAM Week in Primary: Discovering the Heart! ✨🫀

Today, as part of our exciting STEAM Week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr Jean Paul Vilchez Tschischke, cardiologist and father of one of our pupils, who kindly came to share his knowledge and passion for the human heart with our Primary children. 👨🏻‍⚕️💙

Through hands-on activities and engaging explanations, our pupils explored how the heart works, why it is such an important muscle, and how blood travels around the body. 🩸🔬 The children were fascinated as they handled materials, observed demonstrations and asked thoughtful questions — hands were shooting up all around the classroom! 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏼‍♂️

The session was dynamic, interactive and full of curiosity. Seeing real-life science brought into the classroom made learning even more meaningful and inspiring. 🌟
We are incredibly grateful to Dr Vilchez for taking the time to support our STEAM programme and for helping our pupils understand how science and medicine make a real difference in people’s lives.

A wonderful example of parent collaboration and learning brought to life. 💚

✨ STEAM Week in Year 1 – Exploring Medicine 🩺💙

As part of our STEAM Week in Infant and Primary, Year 1 had the wonderful opportunity to welcome Dr Ana Monzó and Dr Elena Díaz into the classroom — a fantastic example of parent collaboration in action.

The session introduced our pupils to the fascinating world of medicine. Through engaging explanations, visual presentations and hands-on demonstrations, the children began to understand how doctors help us stay healthy and how different parts of the body work together.

Using models to explore the lungs and kidneys, and even demonstrating how a pulse oximeter measures oxygen levels, the doctors brought science to life in a way that was both accessible and exciting. The pupils were incredibly attentive, asked thoughtful questions and were eager to take part in the activities.

This meaningful parent collaboration enriches our learning experiences and strengthens the connection between school and family life. By sharing their professional knowledge, our families help us create authentic, real-world learning opportunities that truly inspire curiosity and critical thinking.

A huge thank you to Dr Monzó and Dr Díaz for their time, expertise and continued support of our school community. 👩‍⚕️✨

✨ Year 13 University Visits – Exploring Their ✨ Year 13 University Visits – Exploring Their Future Pathways 🎓🌍

Today our Year 13 students took an important step towards their next chapter, visiting several faculties at the Universitat de València.

Throughout the day, they explored:

🔬 Medicine and Dentistry
🏃‍♂️ Physical Education and Sports Sciences
⚙️ Engineering (Burjassot Campus)
📊 Social Sciences (Tarongers Campus)

From the impressive Faculty of Economics to the dynamic atmosphere of the different campuses, students experienced first-hand what university life feels like — walking through lecture halls, discovering facilities and gaining valuable insight into a wide range of degree options.

Seeing them confidently standing on the university steps, asking questions and imagining themselves in those spaces next year was incredibly special. ✨

Visits like these help transform interests into clear goals and aspirations into real plans. We are so proud of the maturity, curiosity and ambition they showed throughout the day. 👏💙

At Los Olivos, we guide our students not only towards excellent academic results, but towards informed, confident decisions about their future.

The next step is getting closer. 🚀
