On Friday May 31st students, staff and teachers all participated in our fund-raising School Fair.
At 5 pm, at the end of the school day, our fund-raising May Fair got under way in the playground and under the pine trees in secondary. There were many fun activities, handicrafts and games for the students as well as stalls selling books, food and drink, a barbeque and a fantastic raffle. There was also live music from groups of staff and students.
The fair was very well attended and continued until 8.30pm. Everyone enjoyed the chance to take part and to spend time together on the pleasant spring evening. Above all though the fair is important as it raises funds for a cause. This year we were supporting the Red Cross who were present to talk about their work to all those who wished. Previously they had visited school to explain to the students their work and how the students, through the fair, could help them in the work in Mozambique following Cyclone Idai.
We would like to thank all the parents, students and staff for all your help, effort and generous contributions.
