Last Friday, 14th June, was a very special night for all of us at Los Olivos as we celebrated our
graduation dinner for the class of 2024..
At around 20.15, our Year 13 students and their parents began to arrive at school. The students
and their parents, along with the teachers who had taught the class over the years, enjoyed
chatting and taking photos to remember this special occasion while they enjoyed a buffet dinner.
We then moved on to the area under the pine trees, where a stage and seating had been specially
prepared for the occasion and where we held the graduation ceremony.
The central act of the evening was the awarding of the graduation certificates to each student
along with a memento from the school. Both students and teachers took turns to say a few
words in which they remembered anecdotes from over the years and in which their mutual
appreciation and gratitude were evident. This was followed by a video the students had prepared
of their years at Los Olivos.
It was a moving and memorable occasion, and we would once again like to congratulate our, now
ex, students and wish them every success in the future.
