On Friday April 12th our students have enthusiastically taken part in the Run Against Hunger
Throughout the day, both in primary and in secondary, the students have put on their sports gear and taken turns to and run around the circuits set up for the activity. The race is organised by the NGO “Action Against Hunger” with which we have been collaborating for the last few years. Before the day of the race members of the NGO visited the school to explain how the money the children raised would be used to help fight hunger in the world. Parents, relatives, friends and teachers have sponsored students for every lap or every kilometre they run.
This year we were joined by the children from the “Xicotets” nursery school who have also participated and contributed to the event.
We would like to congratulate all our students for the effort and enthusiasm they put into the activity and to thank all those who have contributed financially.
