We have champions at Los Olivos! Our Key Stage 3 (Year 9, Year 8 & Year 7) girls’ basketball team made history by winning every single match and being crowned VIS Cup Champions. Their combination of coordinated court play, strong mental focus, and true team spirit made this victory well deserved. Congratulations, girls! 🎉
Meanwhile, our boys’ team showed great effort and determination, gaining valuable experience and finishing in 6th place. We are immensely proud of all our players and the exemplary way in which they represented our school.
The tournament, held in Godella, featured seven schools competing in an exciting round-robin format. The Valencia International Schools Cup has been a key event on our school calendar for over a decade. Established in 2014, it brings together students from different British and International schools across Valencia to compete in various sporting events. With more schools participating and an expanding range of competitions, the future looks bright for all involved.
Los Olivos was a founding member of the association and will continue to play an important role in its future.
With the volleyball tournaments just around the corner and the postponed senior basketball competition coming up, our students are already training hard. We can’t wait for more sporting success! 💪🏀
