Thursday, October 31st, was a special day for our students, as we celebrated our Halloween party at school.
As the big day approached the Halloween atmosphere gradually filled the school and when the afternoon finally arrived, we celebrated by dressing up and playing Halloween games.
The Primary students showed terrific imagination and had great fun dressing up in their creative costumes. Students in Years 1 , 2 and 3 sung Halloween songs and then enjoyed the fun games that their teachers and the Year 10 pupils had prepared for them. Those in Years 4,5 and 6 had a great time playing the games that had been organised for them under the pine trees. Our youngest students, in Nursery and Reception all dressed up as cats for their Cat Party and also enjoyed the traditional games which had been organised especially for them.
In Secondary the students in Years 7, 8 and 9 showed great imagination and wit with their costumes. Prizes were given in categories such as “The Scariest Costume” or ” Best painted Face “. Everyone then enjoyed the games that the Year 10 students had prepared for them.
Our thanks to everyone for joining in and making it such a fun afternoon. A special thanks to the Year 10 students for organising the games and for helping to clear up afterwards!
