Our Nursery and Reception pupils enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day this week, taking part in a morning full of fun, movement and healthy competition.
The event featured a variety of activities carefully designed for our youngest learners, including running races, throwing challenges, obstacle courses and team games. Throughout the morning, the children demonstrated enthusiasm, determination and excellent sportsmanship as they took on each challenge with confidence and excitement.
One of the highlights of the day was the wonderful support from families, who joined us to cheer on the children and share in their achievements. The much-anticipated parents’ race also provided plenty of laughter and friendly competition, creating some memorable moments for everyone involved.
To conclude the event, our School Council organised a delicious fresh fruit feast, inviting pupils and families to enjoy a healthy snack together. The colourful display of fresh fruit was a great success and provided the perfect ending to a very active morning.
At English School Los Olivos, we believe that sporting events such as Sports Day help children develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity. They also provide valuable opportunities for families and staff to come together and celebrate our school community.
A huge thank you to all the families, staff and School Council members who helped make the day such a success. Most importantly, congratulations to all our Nursery and Reception pupils, who approached every activity with enthusiasm, energy and big smiles.
Learning, Growing and Caring Together.
