On Thursday 18th June, our Nursery and Reception pupils enjoyed a wonderful full-day trip to Vialdea, an educational theme park specially designed to introduce young children to road safety and responsible citizenship through play and hands-on experiences.
The day began with a series of engaging activities where the children learned about different services that help a community function, including emergency services, transport and public safety. They explored the miniature town, listened carefully to the instructors and discovered how important it is to follow rules and respect others in shared spaces.
One of the highlights of the visit was the opportunity to drive a variety of child-sized vehicles around Vialdea’s specially designed streets. Following road signs, pedestrian crossings and traffic rules, the children experienced first-hand what it means to be both a driver and a pedestrian in a safe and controlled environment.
Throughout the day, our pupils demonstrated excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and curiosity. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to reinforce concepts related to safety, responsibility and community awareness while having great fun with their classmates.
A delicious lunch at the park completed a fantastic day of learning and adventure.
We would like to thank the team at Vialdea for providing such an enjoyable and educational experience for our youngest learners.
