At English School Los Olivos, we believe in education that goes beyond the classroom. Every year, our students, families, and teachers come together to participate in the Race Against Hunger, a solidarity event that has become a cherished tradition in our school.
In collaboration with the international NGO Action Against Hunger, this campaign educates students about global inequalities and the urgent need to fight hunger and poverty around the world. In the weeks leading up to the event, awareness sessions are held in classrooms, helping our students understand the impact of their actions and the importance of solidarity.
Each student seeks sponsorships among family and friends, committing to run as many kilometers as they can. Every step, every kilometer, means more funds raised to support humanitarian projects across the globe. This year’s race was once again filled with excitement, energy, and a strong sense of purpose. Our students enjoyed exercising outdoors, knowing they were making a real difference.
The collaboration, motivation, and big hearts of our entire educational community — students, families, and teachers alike — made this event a resounding success once again. We are proud to be part of a school that instills values of empathy, social responsibility, and global citizenship in every child.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the Race Against Hunger 2025 unforgettable! Together, we are building a better world.
