Yesterday, a group of our student mediators attended the XXII Trobada d’Alumnat Mediador, held at La Rambleta (Valencia), accompanied by our school psychologist, Desiré.
This annual event brings together students from different schools who are actively involved in peer mediation programmes. Throughout the day, our pupils took part in a variety of workshops, talks and collaborative activities focused on conflict resolution, emotional awareness and the importance of dialogue within the school environment.
The event placed strong emphasis on key values such as listening, respect and empathy. Through dynamic sessions and real-life scenarios, students reflected on the importance of taking an active role when facing conflict, with powerful messages such as “Don’t ignore it, act” and “If you stay silent, you become part of it.”
Our students represented the school with great maturity and enthusiasm, engaging fully in the experience and sharing ideas with peers from other schools. It was a valuable opportunity for them to strengthen their skills as mediators and continue promoting a positive and supportive school environment.
We are very proud of their commitment and would also like to thank Desiré for her guidance and support throughout the day.
