Over the last few weeks, our students have once again been able to take part in different sporting events against other schools. Following the two-year absence of such activities, due to the pandemic, it has been wonderful for our students to have the opportunity to return to competing in matches with neighbouring schools. Our Year 9 and Year 8 students participated in a volleyball and football competition where teamwork, effort and fair play were at the centre of all the games. Our Year 5 students took part in a hockey competition and again showed a fantastic attitude and really enjoyed the occasion.
The students made the most of the chance these matches give to put into practice the skills and values learned in lessons, and they are already looking forward to the next set of events.
We are delighted to be able to introduce once again this type of events to our calendar and are planning more during the remainder of the year. It was a positive experience for all involved and we would like to congratulate our students for their effort and exemplary attitude.
