On Monday, September 9th, all our students returned to school full of energy, eager to learn and looking forward to seeing all their friends again. We would like to welcome everyone to the new school year, especially those who are joining us for the first time in the different classes. A special welcome to our youngest children, who have started in our Nursery class, where they enjoyed all the games, stories, the bright classroom and the welcome from their teachers. There were though, as always, a few tears on their first day. A mention too for the Year 7 students who were excited and smiling, but a little nervous too, since it was their first day in the secondary school.
The students in primary were excited to see the different changes and improvements we had made to the building over the summer. These have also been well received by parents who have taken advantage of the first week of class to pop in to see the changes.
So, once again, the new school year is underway (for more than the 40th time!) but each one is a little different and special. We would like to wish all our teachers, parents and students, who are part of this educational project an enjoyable and productive year.
