Year 1 pupils recently enjoyed a wonderful educational visit to the Valencia Botanical Garden as part of their Science topic on plants.
During the visit, the children took part in a guided tour through the gardens, where they had the opportunity to observe a wide variety of plants and trees from different parts of the world. The pupils explored the shapes, textures and characteristics of different leaves and plants, discovering many fascinating species along the way.
As part of the experience, the children also participated in hands-on workshops related to plants. Through these activities, they were able to investigate how plants grow, learn about their different parts and understand the important role they play in our environment.
Spending time outdoors in such a unique natural setting made the learning experience especially engaging and meaningful. The pupils showed great curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the visit, asking questions and actively taking part in the activities.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect classroom learning with the natural world and to continue developing their interest in science through observation, exploration and discovery.
