This week, our Year 10 students travelled to Madrid for a two-day educational trip full of culture, history and unforgettable experiences.
During their stay, students had the opportunity to visit some of the most important landmarks in the Spanish capital, combining learning outside the classroom with valuable moments shared together as a group.
One of the highlights of the trip was the visit to the Spanish Parliament (Congreso de los Diputados), where students were able to discover more about the political history and democratic institutions of Spain while exploring the impressive parliamentary chamber.
The group also visited the Royal Palace, where they admired its magnificent halls, historical rooms and artistic treasures, gaining a deeper understanding of Spain’s royal heritage and history.
Another memorable stop was the Prado Museum, where students explored some of the most iconic works of Spanish and European art, enjoying an enriching cultural experience surrounded by masterpieces from renowned artists.
Throughout the trip, students showed excellent behaviour and enthusiasm, making the most of every activity and representing the school wonderfully. Beyond the educational value of the visit, the trip also helped strengthen friendships and create lasting memories together.
We would like to thank Amparo and Rafa, the teachers involved in organising and accompanying the trip, as well as our students for their positive attitude and participation throughout these two fantastic days in Madrid.
