Today, our Year 10 students took part in a highly valuable and practical First Aid Workshop focused on essential emergency response skills and basic life support procedures.
Throughout the session, students learned how to react calmly and effectively in different emergency situations, including convulsions and cardiac arrest scenarios. The workshop covered important topics such as CPR techniques, rescue breaths, chest compressions and the correct use of emergency medication in specific situations.
One of the most engaging parts of the activity was the hands-on practice using CPR training mannequins, which allowed students to apply what they had learned in a realistic and interactive way under professional supervision.
At English School Los Olivos, we strongly believe that education goes far beyond academic subjects. Developing confidence, responsibility and real-life skills is an essential part of preparing our students for the future.
We would like to thank the healthcare professionals who led the workshop, as well as our students for their excellent participation, maturity and enthusiasm throughout the session.
