Our Year 11 students, alongside their German exchange partners, spent an unforgettable day exploring the natural
and cultural wonders of La Albufera.
The day began with a workshop about the origins of La Albufera and its importance throughout history. Students
then learned about the fascinating evolution of rice, discovering the different stages of its cultivation.
Next, they joined a painting workshop, where they captured the breathtaking landscapes while studying the local
flora and fauna.
To finish, they participated in a session dedicated to the art of making the perfect paella, learning about the steps
involved before enjoying a well-deserved tasting.
It was a day full of learning, creativity, and delicious tradition — a perfect example of cultural exchange in action!
