Our Year 13 students recently enjoyed a comprehensive university visit to the Universitat de València, gaining first-hand insight into a wide range of degree options and campus life.
Throughout the day, students visited several faculties across different campuses, including:
- Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry
- Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences
- Engineering degrees at the Burjassot Campus
- Social Sciences degrees at the Tarongers Campus
- Faculty of Economics
The visit allowed students to explore lecture theatres, facilities and common areas, while learning about entry requirements, course structures and career pathways. Being physically present in the university environment gave them a clearer understanding of what higher education entails and helped them visualise their next academic step.
Particularly inspiring was the opportunity to walk through buildings rich in history and academic tradition, reinforcing the sense of responsibility and excitement that comes with this final stage of secondary education.
At English School Los Olivos, we believe that preparing students for university goes beyond academic achievement. Experiences such as these are essential in helping them make informed decisions, reflect on their interests and confidently plan their future pathways.
We are very proud of the maturity, curiosity and engagement shown by our Year 13 students during this visit, and we look forward to supporting them as they take their next steps towards higher education.
