Our Year 2 pupils spent an exciting day at Benissanó Castle, a beautiful historic fortress full of stories and surprises. The day began with a series of interactive games — including dominoes, memory puzzles, cone throwing and racing challenges — designed to help children connect playfully with medieval life.
Afterwards, the pupils toured the castle’s chambers and towers, discovering how people lived in past centuries and learning about the castle’s role in local history. The visit concluded with a walk along the medieval walls of the village, where they could see first-hand how history and architecture come together.
It was a perfect day that blended fun, teamwork and historical discovery, bringing learning to life in a truly engaging way! 🌿✨
