Year 5 students enjoyed a very special educational trip to the Observatory of the University of Valencia, where they participated in a Solar System workshop at the Observatory of the University of Valencia, an experience designed to spark scientific curiosity and connect classroom learning with real-world exploration.

Throughout the visit, pupils learned about planetary motion, discovered fascinating astronomical phenomena, and worked with hands-on materials in an environment that promotes observation, reasoning, and critical thinking.
They also had fun interacting with space-themed elements and even “became” astronauts for a moment.

Experiences like this reflect English School Los Olivos’ commitment to meaningful, motivating and experiential learning, especially within the STEAM fields.

Learning, Growing and Caring Together.
