Our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils recently returned from a fantastic four-day residential trip to Tarihuela, where they enjoyed an exciting programme of outdoor activities designed to encourage teamwork, independence, confidence and personal growth.
Throughout the stay, pupils took part in a wide variety of adventure activities including climbing, high ropes courses, kayaking, archery, hiking and team challenges. These experiences allowed them to develop new skills, overcome personal challenges and work together in a supportive environment.
The beautiful natural surroundings provided the perfect setting for learning beyond the classroom. Whether navigating the climbing wall, paddling across the water, aiming for the target in archery or exploring the local countryside, pupils approached every activity with enthusiasm and determination.
The residential experience also offered valuable opportunities for pupils to strengthen friendships, build independence and create lasting memories with their classmates and teachers.
We are extremely proud of the positive attitude, resilience and teamwork shown by all our pupils throughout the trip. It was a wonderful experience and a fantastic way to finish this part of the academic year together.
