Boí Taüll, Pirineos
Our Year 9 and Year 10 pupils have enjoyed an unforgettable ski trip to the stunning slopes of the Pyrenees, where sport, resilience and friendship came together in a truly special experience.
Over the course of the trip, students took part in daily ski lessons adapted to their individual levels. From beginners taking their very first turns on the snow to more experienced skiers confidently tackling higher slopes, every pupil challenged themselves and made remarkable progress.
Beyond technical skills, the trip provided invaluable opportunities for personal growth. Students developed independence, responsibility and perseverance while learning to support and encourage one another. Celebrating small victories at the top of the mountain, sharing laughter during breaks, and enjoying the breathtaking alpine scenery made this experience even more meaningful.
Evenings and shared moments off the slopes strengthened friendships and reinforced the strong sense of community that defines our school. Experiences like these go far beyond sport: they help our pupils grow in confidence, resilience and teamwork.
We are incredibly proud of their attitude, enthusiasm and positive spirit throughout the trip.
A truly enriching experience — learning, growing and caring together, even at 2,000 metres above sea level.
