Year 9 students prepare the ecological allotment

Alumnos preparan los bancales del huerto ecológico del colegio con herramientas y un cubo.

Some of our Year 9 students have been working enthusiastically on the school’s ecological allotment together with their teacher Natalie. The group has been preparing the soil and garden beds to get everything ready for planting winter vegetables.

This activity not only helps them learn first-hand about sustainability and healthy living, but also encourages teamwork, responsibility and respect for the environment.

At English School Los Olivos, we believe in learning by doing —and projects like this allow our students to experience practical education beyond the classroom.
